Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 9, 2026
I believe a good website is one that everyone can experience. This site was adapted to be accessible and easy to use for people with disabilities too, in the spirit of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 5773-2013.
Level of accessibility
The site was adapted to the requirements of the Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, except for the points listed below under "Points to note", each of which has an accessible alternative.
Adaptations made on the site
- An accessibility menu on every page (the round button in the bottom-left corner): larger text, high contrast, grayscale, inverted colors, link highlighting, readable font, text spacing, focus highlighting, large cursor and stopping animations. The settings are saved in the browser for your next visit.
- A hierarchical heading structure and semantic tags, for comfortable navigation with screen readers.
- A "Skip to content" link at the start of every page.
- The ability to navigate and operate the site components with the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Alternative text for meaningful images, and labels for buttons, icons and videos.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- A form with clear labels, marked required fields, and textual error messages that move the focus to the field that needs fixing.
- Respecting the operating system's "reduce motion" setting: when it is on, the site's animations stop or are reduced.
- Hebrew subtitles on videos that include voice-over or speech.
- Adaptation to a variety of screen sizes, including mobile phones, and support for enlarging text in the browser.
- The site is available in Hebrew (right to left) and in English (left to right), with a language switch in the top header and the appropriate language and direction settings on every page.
Points to note
- Scroll-driven animations (the site slideshow in the hero, the computer in the work section and the video wall): the motion can be stopped with the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system or with the accessibility menu. The same sites are also shown in a keyboard-accessible list in the work section.
- Videos embedded from YouTube: The player belongs to YouTube and its accessibility depends on it. Every video that includes voice-over has subtitles.
- External sites that the portfolio links to are not under my control.
If you run into difficulty with one of these components, I will gladly send you the information in an alternative accessible way, such as text, a recording or a call.
Physical service
I do not have a place where I receive the public. All services are provided remotely: by phone, WhatsApp, email and video meetings.
Ran into a problem?
If you ran into a component that is not accessible, or you have a suggestion for improvement, I would love to hear and fix it quickly. So that I can help, please mention the page, a description of the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you used.
